How can you save a document and also save it under another Name?
Ans: To save we do : Office button ? save ? write file name and set location ? Save. To save under another location we do: Office button ? save as ? change file name ? set location as desired ? save.
How can you save document as template , different word version formate, RTF file TXT file?
Ans: We can save them from save as menu of office button.

How can we show all non printing character or control which is show in display?
Ans: Under Home tab there is an icon of tool named show/hide non printing character in paragraph Group. Clicking on that button we can display or hide non printing character.

How can you insert symbol within your text?
Ans: To insert symbols into text in MS-word we do : Insert Tab ? symbols ? select desired symbol ? insert ? close.

How can you apply the superscript or subscript?

Ans: Superscript: Home Tab ? Click superscript icon in the font group? Ctrl + shift + write something . shortcut key : ctrl +, Subscript: Home ? click subscript icon in the font group ? write something

How can you find a text in a document? 

Ans: Home ? find icon in Editing Group ? write the expected word/ text ? return/find next.

What is wildcard?
Ans: A wildcard is a symbol that takes the place of an unknown character or set of characters. Commonly used wildcards are asterisk (*) and the question mark (?). The asterisk represents any number of unknown characters. We use it when searching for documents or files for which we have only partial names.

What is folders in MS windows?

Ans: A folder is a container of files. We store files on a disk in folders.

How can you solve spelling and grammatical mistes? 
Ans: By using spell checking program we can solve spelling and grammatical mistakes. When we press F7 we see the spelling and grammar dialog box. We use this box to solve the problem. It works by comparing the words within my document with a list of words contained within a dictionary. MS Word sometimes highlights a word which it cannot recognize but this word is necessary which as any name or trade mark. It we add this word to the dictionary next time MS word will not highlight it.

What do you mean by text alignment?
Ans: Text alignment means where the text will stay. It is of four types : • Left alignment • Center alignment • Right alignment • Justify alignment

How can you print a range of selected pages ?
Ans: We can do this by opening print dialog box. Within the print range section of the dialog box click on the selection button. Now only the selected portion of the document will be printed.

2. Landscape: it is used for certain types of documents such as notices.

Ans: It is normally measured in inches. It is shorter than 'A4' size paper. It is normally used in united states

what is mail merge? why we use mail merge?
Ans: The mail merge feature is used to insert variable data into a fixed format by combining two files into one file. Two files needed are the data file and the main document. We use mail merge when we need a particular document to be made, printed, or sent to many persons at a time.
                             
Before printing a document what types of task we must have to be done?
Ans: Before we printout a file we should manually check our documents which includes: checking the layout, presentation and spelling. We should make sure that the margins, font sizes and formats are appropriate and there are no spelling errors or repeated word.

Ans: (Shaheb 2nd­ time Describe) Ribbon is the area of the screen where the all tabs, Board, Groups and their related tool button and control stay. (Correct)

What is Tab? Write the name of four types of Tab and their uses?
Ans: Tab is a position on the ruler by which we can define where the cursor will go if we press the Tab button on the keyboard and in what alignment the text will be.
There are four types of Tab:
1. Left Tab: inserts a left aligned tab stop
2. Center Tab: inserts a Center aligned tab stop.
3. Right Tab: inserts a Right aligned tab stop.
4. Decimal Tab: inserts a Decimal tab stop.

What are bulleted lists? How can you remove bullet formatting from a list?
Ans: Bulleted lists are lists in which bullets are used to set-off and paragraph sections of text. Bullets are symbols such as dots or diamonds. To remove the bullet formatting from a list we have to select the bulleted list and click on the bullets icon or none on the formatting toolbar.

Ans : Header and Footer are the sections within the top and bottom margins of every page which allow us to insert information like chapter headings, date and time with page numbers etc.

What is hyphenation? How can we set hypernation?
Ans: Hyphenation is putting hyphens at the end of every line if words are broken into the next line. To put hyphenation: 1. Click Tools -> language -> hyphenation (97/2003)
2. In the hyphenation dialog box check 'automatically hyphenate document' and click ok.

Click Page Layout->go to page setup->click on Hyphenation ->click on -> Automatically Hyphenate document”
3. To set hyphenation in a specific position, click on the manual button.
