English All Paragraph

Hello Dear Students how are you? hope that you are well. I am Ayesha Akter, Lecturer of English at Web School BD. Here some important paragraph are discuss

1.Liberation War
The people of Bangladesh discovered their identity through the Language Movement in 1952. The struggle to establish their identity and national spirit began soon after 1947 when they realized that under Pakistan created on the two nation theory they was little scope for the distance culture of Banglees to flourish .
The refusal of the central government to grant status to Bangla language became the focal point of struggle, because language was the most important vehicle of the cultural expression of the people of this land.
The contradiction of the two Pakistans , the racial oppression and the exploitation of the West over the East was gradually unveiled. The struggle for the consciousness of identity and cultural freedom which began with the advent of the student movements of the 60's gained momentum in the mass movement of 1969. Though it brought about the  fall of a mighty military ruler like Ayub Khan, the  ultimate goal was not achieved. After this, came the election of 1970 with absolute victory of Sheikh Mujibur Rahaman. In the elections of December 7, 1970 the Awami League won 160 out of 162 seats in East Pakistan, all but two, and would have had a clear majority in the new assembly had it been convened. Sheikh Mujibur Rahman became the majority party leader of the Pakistan National Assembly . The military rules of Pakistan refused to allow the Awami League to form a government. Major General Ziaur Rahman on behalf of Mujib declared independence. A full scale movement of non-cooperation with the military government began on the 26th of March, 1971 which is celebrated as the Independence Day every year. Thus Bangladesh plunged into a civil war.
The Pakistan Army began their genocide by attacking the innocentBangalees of Dhaka city. The dwellers of Dhaka city never confronted such intolerable days. The Pakistani army massacred 35,000 Bengali intellectuals and unleashed a brutal war against the Bangalees of East Pakistan to prevent their secession. the dream encircled flag During the nine month struggle which ensued an estimated three million Bengalis died and and ten million refuges fled into India Sheikh Mujib was imprisoned in west Pakistan. A Bangladesh Government in exile was established. The actual military campaign took place in December and lasted only ten days. The Indian Army launched a massive offensive against the Pakistani forces to support the Bangladesh movement . On December 16, 1971, the Pakistan army surrendered.

2.A Rickshaw Puller
A rickshaw puller is a poor man. He toils hard for the whole day, from morning till late night. His life is hard. He earns his livelihood by driving a rickshaw. He pulls the rickshaw in scorching sun, at chill winter nights and even in heavy rains. He is a useful member of our society. His service is in equal demand in cities, towns, villages and metros. It is the rickshaw puller who takes us to those places where other means of transportation are not accessible. He belongs to the poor class of our society and serves to the humanity in extreme weather conditions also. He is ready to give his service all the time. A rickshaw puller leads a very hard life. He earns little to meet two square meals a day for his family. He never cares for his health and pulls his rickshaw for maximum hours in a day. Apart from carrying person or persons, he carries goods like vegetables, tea and other things in the form of packed or unpacked bundles.
Nowadays some rickshaw pullers are seen engaged in carrying school children. It gives them a permanent income. And what is more, they get a change in their hard life in the company of the small children. In this advanced age, when there are various transport facilities, rickshaw pulling is still in existence on a mass level. Pulling of human beings by a man is a curse upon society. Hence, rickshaw pullers must be given full support from the Government in the form of loan so that they may purchase auto-rickshaw or may start some other business thus, they will be able to earn more money by comparatively less manual labour. It will also make their family life a little bit more comfortable. They will be able to educate their children in order to make them worthy citizens of the country.
We must feel the rickshaw puller's misery and be a little more lenient towards him. If we don’t pay him more than the real wage, it's alright. But we should never underestimate his labour.

3.Foreign Travel
Traveling is something everyone would like to experience from a very young age. We are introduced to other countries first by watching television programs held to inform us of different cultures, languages, food and sights other places have. Visiting countries other than your own is extremely interesting. Some travel on business, others to go on holiday. Students also travel to study, to take a post graduate course in a well-known University. Others travel to educate themselves, to learn more about the country they are visiting, places of interest, like art and history museums, to experience their culture. Foreign travel contributes to a person’s education. People acquire information and increase their knowledge. They also learn a new language. If they do not travel they become insular. It is important to savour other nation’s culture, experience firsthand the way they live, cook and do things in everyday life. This fosters understanding and bridges the gap between nations. Foreign traveling can be made by the means many transports. But a journey by plane is the most fascinating of them. Everybody does not have the fortune to enjoy a airplane journey. I was one of the fortunate few. My first flight in the air was a very exciting experience in my life.I was traveling from Dhaka to Singapore by air. Entering the Shahjalal International Airport we had check-in using our passport. We entered the airplane in the morning. It was like getting into a car or bus but the noise of the machine made us feel that it was different. Soon the plane took off and rose in the air higher and higher. The buzzing sound which had fascinated me continued. When I looked down, things looked tiny. The plane rushed fast through the air without a bump or a jolt, when all of a sudden bad weather overtook us. The plane began to swing from side to side and the pilot was a little troubled in controlling it, but I felt happy like a bird swinging in the air. Due to weather, some of the passengers felt sick. Some slept in their seats but I sat still. I took great pleasure in looking at the scenery of the different places as we passed over. It was a lovely sight.  It seemed to be a big dash through the air. Our plane finally touched down at Changi Airport, from where we drove off to a hotel in the heart of Singapore. The total flight had taken us nearly four hours. It was a very interesting and exciting journey indeed.

4.A school library
A school without a library is unthinkable these days. It has books on various subjects, newspapers, journals and magazines. Students, especially who want to broaden their knowledge, go to the library in their vacant periods and study.
My school has an up-to-date library. It is quite big. It is housed in the separate room. There are nearly twenty five bookshelves. They are placed along the walls of the room. The shelves have glass pane. Besides text books, the almirahs have books on travels, biographies, history and geography.
On one side of the library hall there are long tables and benches. Students sit there and read newspapers, journals and magazines; some take down notes. Nobody is permitted to talk to disturb others.
The library also has reference and text books. These are meant for studying in the library only. The calm and quiet atmosphere of the library helps the students to work attentively.
The school librarian is a trained and qualified person and well-experienced. He gives advice to students on the choice of books. He is an expert in his work. He understands his duty well and is of great help to students. We find him busy all the time. He advises students not to spoil books by scribbling in them or tearing off the pages.
A librarian is the in charge of the school library. The library is always open on all the days of the week. The students get the books directly from the librarian. The books are well graded. The students find no difficulty in the selection of the books. The students read the books during the week. They return them the following week. Nobody is allowed to keep a book for more than two weeks.
The school library is a good way to develop general knowledge. The students beget studious habits. It creates a taste for book after school life. The library creates love for books among the weak boys. It gives opportunities to make best use of our leisure time. It gives us day-to-day information of the world.

5.Hobby
A hobby is a leisure activity that people do for fun or recreation. Hobby is something that one likes to do in one’s spare time. It is developed through a constant and systematic process. Hobbies play an important role in developing one’s personality. They keep a person active, busy and cheerful. There is hardly a person who does not have a hobby. The educated and the uneducated alike pursue one hobby or the other. Some hobbies like flying kites, gardening, reading books, periodicals, swimming, painting, to listening music etc. are fairly popular. The youth today who are too busy to devote time for hobbies should choose career oriented hobbies. The old and the young equally derive pleasure from hobbies. Hobbies should have a creative and instructive effect upon the person. People may have many different types of hobbies during their lifetimes. The main goal of a hobby is to give you an enjoyable break from your everyday work or school. A hobby is something you should do only for yourself. Hobbies are interesting pursuits which people engage in to add interest to their daily life. A hobby affords a welcome change from the dull routine of life. It refreshes the mind. It keeps us usefully busy. It saves us from evil company. It is a source of recreation and amusement. A hobby is a necessity for the proper enjoyment of life. Different people cultivate different hobbies. Painting, photography, swimming, singing, gardening, stamp collecting, picture collecting, hunting, fishing, carpentry and nature study, are some common hobbies. My hobby is reading. I read story books, magazines, newspapers and any kind of material that I find interesting. This hobby got started when I was a little boy. I had always wanted my parents to read fairy tales and other stories to me. Soon they got fed up and tired of having to read to me continually. So as soon as I could, I learned to read. I started with simple ABC books. Soon I could read simple fairy tales and other stories. Now I read just about anything that is available. Reading enables me to learn about so many things that I would otherwise not know. The wonderful thing about reading is that I do not have to learn things the hard way. Books provide the reader with so much information and facts. They have certainly helped me in my daily life. I am better equipped to cope with living. Otherwise I would go about ignorantly learning things the hard way. So I continue to read. Besides being more informed about the world, I also spend my time profitably. It is indeed a good hobby.

6.Good Health
Good health is an asset. It is the most valuable possession in human life. To speak the truth, it is the greatest wealth of all things on earth. It is said that good health is the source of all happiness. Good health and happiness go side by side. Health is the sound state of the body as well as of mind. A healthy man must have soundness of mind as well as soundness of body. To be healthy, one must grow up in a balanced way. To keep good health, one has to eat a balanced diet, drink clean water, take fresh air, rest properly and take physical exercise regularly. For the retention of mental health, one has to control one's emotions and one has to have patience and respect for other people's feelings and rights. However, life without good health is boring and unbearable. It is so often heard that a person possessing ill health prefers death to life. So, everyone should take care of his health.

7. A winter morning

Here are three paragraphs on a winter morning

*A winter morning is cold and foggy. Everything seems hazy and indistinct. The grass remains wet with dew drops. When the sun rises, dew drops sprakle like pearls. Old people and children shiver in cold. Poor people gather straw and make fire to busk in the heat. Animals, too are helpless. They hide themselves in the corner of house and try to save themselves from the bitting cold outside. People get up late in the morning. Old people and children get up a bit later to evade cold of the early morning. Working people get out of the doors when the fog disappears and when the sun is hot. People usually eat homemade cakes with ‘date juice’ and sitting outside their homes enjoy the warmth of the early sun. Bangalees settled abroad, make a it a point to come and spend the winter in Bangladesh. They find the winter here pleasant as the winter in any European country is tremendously cold. A winter morning in Bangladesh is thus quite fascinating for them. My personal feeling about a winter morning is that it is a bane for the poor but a boon for the rich.

Or,
*Of the six seasons the winter is undoubtedly the coldest season in Bangladesh. There remains dense fog all around in winter. Sometimes, the fog is so dense that the sunrays cannot get through it. Everything looks hazy. As a result, communication system is disrupted. And it causes much hardship to people. Sometimes, cold waves blow throughout the country. The sun having risen the old and the children enjoy basking in the sun to get rid of cold. The dew drops fallen on the grass and the leaves sparkle like pearls in the rays of the morning sun. This scene makes the earth look beautiful. Date juice sellers become busy for selling date juice from door to door. People from all walks of life, especially villagers enjoy eating native cakes which are called ‘Pithas’ in Bangla. The scene of a winter morning is very transitory. This scene starts disappearing as the day advances.

*Winter in Bangladesh is pleasant, eagerly awaited and planned for. The autumn season passes off almost unnoticed in this country. But if nature had shortchanged us in one way, she has compensated by giving a balmy buoyant winter. The Bengali month of Kartik, that is early winter, is celebrated by poet Jibanananda Das in his poetry as a period that reveals the inner beauty and soul of Bengal . Kartik is now over and even the month of Agrahayan is more than half-way through. Winter has now fully set in. The sun-bathed fields and farms look as serene as though they were flooded by moonlight. The fog and mist lend an added mystery to the quiet beauty. It is another irony that winter days are short but crowded with activities. Outings, picnics, educational and religious programmes, even political activities receive a fresh spurt during winter. The gift of winter is also manifested on the dining table. New vegetables arrive, supply of fishes is somewhat better and even poor people can look forward to an occasional hearty meal. The foggy morning will be flavored by the steaming hot Pitha (sweet pie) made from ground rice and seasonal date-palm molasses. The best time to visit Bangladesh is in the winter when the weather is dry and fresh. Yet tourists arriving in Bangladesh have been swelling in numbers day by day. They are visiting places like Cox' Bazar, Teknaf, the Sundarbans, Kuakata, Paharpur and Tetulia. Not only is it international visitors but locals are also using their holidays to visit different places of the country including Dhaka , Khulna and Chittagong . Many of the visitors are expatriate Bangladeshis coming to Bangladesh not only to visit their families, but for a holiday and to experience the vibrant and culturally rich country of their forbearers. Catering for all these people has seen an increase in the demand for new hotels and restaurants in Dhaka and at other tourist locations. You can taste a variety of Bangladeshi spicy food, sweets, seasonal winter cakes and snacks. The climates of Bangladesh during 'camp season' (October-February) are sunny winter-spring and are very healthy and comfortable. As a whole, foreigners' stay in Bangladesh is most exciting and enjoyable experience.Bangladesh offers many and varied bird watching opportunities, especially during the winter season. It's possible to observe and photograph a large number of migratory bird species that include rare forest birds, Herons, Basas, Hornbills, Pheasants, Fortails, Laughing Thrushes, Babblers, Raptors, Jacanas, waders, passerines, Kingfishers, Kites, Eagles etc. In winter 'Pitha Utsab' (Cake Festival) usually celebrated by the people of capital Dhaka , mainly at old areas. Those coming to the capital city, in last few decades, have note the celebration with interest. They participate in the 'Pitha Utsab' arranged by the Amra Dhaka Bashi and other organisations. The festival has been projected in different locations including parks, some private houses and cultural complexes. Among other festivities in Bangladesh , the Pitha Utsab or the Cake Festival creates an extra attraction for the people in winter. In olden days marriage ceremonies in rural Bangladesh were unthinkable without Pithas. People used to make Pitha to present those to their relatives to celebrate the birth of grandsons or granddaughters. Food served to guests invariably included Pithas in the morning. The main season of Pithas is the winter when people in rural areas harvest new paddy and are relatively free from the anxieties of wants and pressure of loans taken during lean-work month. Winter is suitable for Pithas also because date palm juice, molasses from sugarcane are found in abundance. The 'Pitha Utsab' gives the people of urban areas an opportunity to have a flashback of the ceremonies that the rural people of the country solemnized by making food of different tastes and attractive forms and sizes. In modern urban life people have neither the time nor the materials to make and taste cakes of traditional varieties. These cakes are made of natural ingredients and are free from adulteration as is sometimes the case with fast-food sold in cities and town. For the poverty-stricken people the balmy and comfortably cool days of winter bring no cheer. And this year it will perhaps be no different. Many people live in perpetual misery and want so acute that even our mild winter spells tragedy for them. Deaths from cold wave are not uncommon, since many having no roof over their heads have to sleep in the open. And this is going to be a hard winter for others as well. When crises are growing, economy is in doldrums, insecurity has gripped the country, a paean for winter may look like escapist distraction, but then a celebration of life and nature is part of our very struggle for existence. Let us welcome the season with guarded optimism.

8.A Rainy Day
Here are three paragraphs on rainy day.

After hot days of June, a rainy day is welcomed. In summers ponds become dry. Birds and animals feel thirsty. All men, women and children feel uneasy during hot days. With the falling of rains everyone gets happy. Peacocks present a dance during rainy days. Frogs in ponds cry very loudly. The Buffaloes enjoy a bath in water ponds. Some people enjoy rain bath including the children who play in rain water. The farmers became happy. They had been praying for the rainfall. Farmers started ploughing their field.People come out in rain-coats and use umbrellas during rains. If it is raining in- the morning children become happy because now it would be a holiday for them. Level of rivers begins to rise. A cold wind blows. The weather becomes pleasant due to rains. There is also thunder and lightning.

Or

On a rainy day it rains all day long. A rainy day is dull and gloomy. The sky is overcast with thick clouds. The sky is not seen. None can go out without an umbrella. Water stands on roads and slippery. Those who have officials and other business go out with umbrellas over the head. Shoes in hand clothes folded up to knee. Passersby also moves in the same way. Sometimes people slip and fall on the midway. The poor suffer much on a rainy day. They cannot go out in quest of work and cannot earn their daily food. They pass the day through suffering. Most of the students do not go to the school. Only a few go to school but they get drenched on the way. So classes are not held and it is a day of great joy to them. Other people also stay at home and pass the day without doing any things. The cattle keep standing in their sheds and bellow for fodder. A rainy day is not pleasant at all.

Or

A rainy day usually occurs in the rainy season. It is day when it rains throughout the day. The sky is covered with clouds and the sun is not visible. It rains without any break and in cats and dogs. Going out becomes almost impossible. Roads become slippery and go sometimes under water. Passers-by have to walk with their shoes in hand. Poor people suffer a lot as they have to work under open sky and their lying place may be washed away by the rain. Students may feel well as in a rainy day usually schools remain vacant. But people who have no alternatives of going out have to suffer a lot. Others people sit idly at home. Thus a rainy day is a sunless day which often becomes monotonous.

Traffic jam is a situation in where vehicles cannot move freely and traffic comes to a standstill. It occurs almost all the district towns where a lot of vehicles play everyday. Especially it occurs near bus stand, railway crossing, turn of a road, at the junction of various roads or near a market. It occurs mainly in the morning and afternoon on working days when everyday body tries to attend office in short time or returns home as early as possible. The indiscriminate playing of vehicles like rickshaws, bus, scroters etc and haphazard parking of vehicles and small shops in the footpaths are the main reason of traffic jam. Traffic jam causes untold sufferings to people. Students cannot reach schools in time. It kills our time and lessons our working hours. It causes great sufferings to the ambulance carrying dying patients and the fire brigade vehicles. The increasing of traffic jam hampers our economy. So well spacious roads should be constructed. One-way movement of vehicles should be introduced. The driver should be trained in order to cope with the other developed nations. After doing all these things we can hope to have a good traffic system for our easy and comfortable movement.

The ecological balance is being lost as a result of environment pollution. If we all desire to live a healthy and tranquillized life, we should make our environment clean and free from pollution. We should be all whole-heartedly in keeping our environment fit for habitation.

9. Internet

There are two types of Internet such as Dial up and Broad Band. Internet has great usefulness. To get appropriate information a person has to communicate in the appropriate address. One can also go to a search engine like Yahoo, Goggle for finding particular page or a piece of information. A search engine is a system through which you can search for information on Web pages containing that information. By using Internet students can go through several books from the libraries without going there. They can seek information regarding admission to different foreign universities. But it is a matter to sorrow that many people of Bangladesh do not have still access to Internet because it is still costly and not easily available.

Arsenic is a fatal poison. It has been deposited in that layer of the soil from here our tube-wells pump out water. As a result in most areas of Bangladesh tube-well water in contaminated with arsenic. Arsenic pollution has made the scarcity of drinking water acute though our country is water-rich. The irony of fate is that “water, water everywhere nor a drop to drink.” It is a hard nut to crack. Our ignorant people are drinking arsenic polluted water from tube wells and are human being affected by arsenicosis. Those who do not eat fish and vegetables are easily affected. Arsenic is such a poison that is damages all the vital organs ore after another resulting in the subsequent death o the sufferer. Arsenicosis has no remedy nor has it any antidote. Hence arsenic pollution demands utmost attention. An affected person should drink arsenic free water and take vitamins A,C,E to come round. A railway station is place where trains stop for the passengers to get into and get off from the train. It is a busy place. It becomes very busy because of the arrival of trains. Here the passengers are found to stand in a queue to collect their tickets in front of the ticket counter. A big station is always crowded with passengers, hawkers, and posters. There are bookstalls, book-sellers and waiting rooms in such a stations. Vendors shout their trade cries. When a train reaches at the station, the passengers hurry to get off from the train. At the same time passengers waiting for the train want to get into the train. As a result, a collision of two groups of passengers takes place. The whistling sound of the departing train creates a situation of vacuum in the minds of the passengers. When the train leaves the station, it becomes deserted and buzzing sound of the passengers ends. A railway station is often a den for the anti-social elements.
